I could relate to Lisa, who's trying her best to change someone, but I could also relate to Nelson, who's understanding of love is childish at best yet he's trying..at the same time he can't avoid all his old tendencies.
It also said something about how different one's concept of love might be at that age.
I liked the fact that they gave Nelson's character some depth and dimension here and gave us some greater insight into his personality.
It was interesting to see him beyond the usual stereotypical role that he's assigned in most roles I probably shouldn't comment any more on this episode because I haven't seen it in ages -I'm just going from what I remember We are trying to archive all of the noteworthy, substantial and important Simpsons related posts/threads on the NHC.

If all you do is workout and live with your parents with no job or desire to do something with yourself, that's a real turnoff.
The relationship between Lisa and Nelson was also enjoyable -although you could pretty much predict the storyline from beginning to end.She has a positive attitude to the world and people in it.Even if she had a bad day, she’ll look on the bright side and find something positive about it. Go for a jog around the lake and even lay out by the lake to get a nice tan. Not only that- I see all these cute girls dating guys that I feel are way less attractive to me and are punks (not trying to be cocky because I'm not, and who knows if they're punks because I dont know them I'm just saying it seems like it.) Are girls interested more in a guy having a job, going to college, and having his own place more then a good looking guy with a nice sense of humor? Okay so your saying I need to get a life enable to get a girl...High there, and welcome to the world's biggest community on skyscrapers and everything in between.
