AADHD very badly but unbelievably no one worked this out - I only worked out that my BI POLAR diagnosis was probably equally likely to be AADHD this week. Aside from the fact I can't keep a checkbook to save my life, and the least little thing will distract me in a heartbeat.
I say unbelievably because she bankrupt my business over the last year in about 1000 separate catastrophes. Most of my life I've felt like I was dumb and lazy. My husband and I have often gotten into fights about my in-ability to keep the house clean and remember appiontments. But after 20 years a couple years ago I decided to go back to school and I've always SUCKED at math... The regulations on controlled substances are much tougher now, so my doctor added the ADHD diagnosis so he can continue prescribing them. (ADD) but its all put under the same category anyway.
There are so many stimulant medications out there, what's... He writes primarily for other researchers and clinicians. In all honesty I don't get why they say someone has adult ADHD. When a person has juvenile diabetes (type 1 diabetes) it's called that all their lives, the name doesn't change when they become and adult. and up until now I thought I was managing it pretty well.
